Community Health System is Hiring a Site Manager Near Moreno Valley, CA

JOB SUMMARY:

The Site Manager will oversee and direct all daily operations of the clinic, working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary team members; coordinate the daily clinical and administrative staff functions and schedules; responsible for the effective implementation of Community Health Systems, Inc. (CHSI) policies and procedures; has input in the annual budget as it pertains to the site; effectively implements budget parameters. The Site Manager oversees the record keeping concerning any grant that operates at their location; responsible for meeting site productivity standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Upholds and supports the mission, philosophy, objectives, policies and ethics of CHSI.
  1. Directly responsible for delivering ongoing excellent customer service to the population we serve.
  2. Directly responsible for the operations of the clinic in accordance with operational budget guidelines.
  3. Responsible for participating in quality improvement projects/activities and accountable for quality and PCMH.
  4. Consults with Regional Operations Manager (ROM) concerning matters that require immediate attention beyond his/her span of control or scope of authority.
  5. Will ensure the clinic maintains current accreditations, certifications and licenses as deemed necessary by Federal, State and Local entities.
  6. Will communicate any clinical related issues with the appropriate department(s) as necessary.
  7. Directly responsible for the timely submission of all reports and auditing activities according to operational deadlines.
  8. Regularly walks through the clinic to ensure quality of care is provided to patients.
  9. Responsible for participating in quality improvement projects/activities and accountable for quality and PCMH.
  10. In conjunction with the RN, evaluates the effectiveness given by interdisciplinary care teams and identifies problems and guides team members to their solution.
  11. Responsible for motivating and directing staff to meet the productivity standards for that site.
  12. Oversees the recording and reporting for any grant that operates within the facility.
  13. Works in collaboration with the Training Department to ensure new and ongoing training of all staff members; works in conjunction with various CHSI departments and staff members to fulfill this responsibility.
  14. Works in conjunction with the Human Resources Department to manage personnel issues. Responsible for initial and ongoing reporting concerning personnel issues are completed in a timely manner to include new hires, certifications, counseling or administrative actions, evaluations, workers compensation claims, leave of absence notices and resignations.
  15. Directly responsible for the time sheets of that site so they are completed and submitted accurately and in a timely fashion.
  16. Works with the Community Relations team in any community outreach marketing effort for promotion of the Site.
  17. Directly responsible for ensuring all forms, documents and paper work is complete, accurate, and submitted to the appropriate department in a timely manner as policy and procedure dictates.
  18. Directly responsible in ensuring the site bank deposit is balanced and deposited in a timely manner, as per CHSI policy.
  19. Notifies the Inventory Manager of building and maintenance repairs.
  20. Responsible for the correct implementation of processing supply orders through the Procurement Department;properly recording, documenting and submitting purchase orders and invoices.
  21. Designates an appropriate person to oversee clinic when he/she is out of the office or unavailable.
  22. Maintains process improvements provided by appropriate department heads to ensure correct and effective implementation is being followed.
  23. Ensures safety guidelines and compliance with OSHA standards are being met.
  24. Participates in training to better patient care such as learning evidence-based approaches to self-management support, proactively addressing the needs of patients and families in this community, cultural competency, and effective communication.
  25. Perform all other duties as directed either formally or informally, verbally or in writing.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees all daily operations and tasks of entire clinic staff.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
  • Strong leadership skills; sound decision making skills and the ability to motivate personnel are required
  • Possess strong customer service skills in both written and verbal communication, with the ability to interact and negotiate with co-workers, management, vendors and others as necessary.
  • A high standard of professionalism and professional ethics and conduct is expected in speech, manner, attitude and appearance at all times.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
  • Ability to deal effectively with changing situations and stressful environment.
  • Proficientlevel of knowledge and the ability to use modern office equipment and systems to include Word and Excel spreadsheets is required.
  • Ability to perform tasks related to physical activity to complete the responsibilities of the position.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • BA degree and/or minimum five (5) years management experience in a health clinic or related field.
